Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic IT Consultant to join a holding company specializing in retail and brands in Morocco. The ideal candidate will lead and actively contribute to critical IT functions while collaborating with other consultants in other areas such as digital transformation, e-commerce integration, and supply chain optimization. This role requires a hands-on approach to implementing and maintaining technology solutions, ensuring operational excellence across multiple brands and geographies.

Responsibilities

Strategic IT Leadership:

Develop, implement, and align the IT strategy with the company’s retail and branding goals.
Collaborate with consultants on digital transformation projects and technology upgrades to meet business objectives.
Oversee and directly contribute to the integration of technology solutions across multiple retail brands and geographies.
Hands-On Infrastructure & Systems Management:

Ensure stability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software, by directly configuring and troubleshooting systems.
Implement, optimize, and maintain ERP systems customized for retail operations.
Actively manage the lifecycle of retail technology systems, including POS, inventory management, and CRM systems.
Provide hands-on support to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.



Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Build, mentor, and lead an IT team while actively contributing to technical tasks and project milestones.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants to identify and fulfill technological needs.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring optimal delivery of IT services.



Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement:

Develop and implement technology-driven solutions to streamline supply chain and retail operations.
Monitor IT systems’ performance through KPIs and dashboards, taking corrective actions when needed.
Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place, tested, and maintained.


Project Management:

Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
Actively participate in project planning, execution, and problem-solving.



Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems, processes, and security protocols.
Regularly report to leadership on IT performance, project progress, and emerging opportunities.



Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of IT management experience, with significant hands-on technical involvement.
Proven experience in the retail or multi-brand industry is highly preferred.



Technical Skills (Hands-On Expertise):

ERP Systems: In-depth experience with leading ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), including system customization and optimization.
POS Systems: Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and integrating POS systems with backend systems.
Cloud Solutions: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Data Analytics & BI: Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio.
Network & Security: Expertise in network architecture, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, and cybersecurity protocols.
Programming & Automation: Working knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or .NET for system automation and customization.
E-commerce Platforms: Experience integrating and managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
AI/ML & IoT: Knowledge of AI/ML applications for demand forecasting and IoT solutions for inventory and supply chain management.
DevOps & Automation: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
