Media Buyer – Job Responsibilities
1. Conduct Market Research
• Analyze target audience demographics, preferences, and behavior.
• Identify the best channels to reach potential customers.
2. Develop Media Plans
• Choose the most suitable platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Allocate budget effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI).
3. Manage Campaign Budgets
• Set daily and monthly budgets across different platforms.
• Monitor and adjust spending to optimize results.
4. Launch and Monitor Campaigns
• Create, schedule, and launch digital ad campaigns.
• Continuously monitor performance and adjust targeting or creatives if needed.
5. Conduct A/B Testing
• Test different ad copies, visuals, and audiences.
• Analyze which combinations deliver the best performance.
6. Analyze Campaign Performance
• Track key metrics like CPC, CTR, CPM, and ROAS.
• Generate performance reports and suggest improvements.
7. Negotiate with Vendors (If Applicable)
• Discuss rates, placements, and packages with advertising platforms or media partners.
8. Stay Up-to-Date with Trends
• Keep up with the latest digital marketing trends, platform updates, and tools.
