We are looking for a promising talent to fill the position Import Specialist. within our operation team, based in Egypt (A Full-time Remote Working Environment).

In this capacity the Import Specialist. be responsible for optimizing the foreign procurement efforts towards promising ecommerce merchandises in terms of market and consumer behavior.

Also, He/she will be responsible for the following duties:-

• Optimizing all available smart searching tools on the internet to performing key market studies and demand analysis for the most popular and promising merchandises to be discussed with the management to approve the target merchandises categories and the excluded ones.
• Estimating costs and projected profit margins for all merchandises, in addition of developing all needed reports regarding sales targets and procurement plans to maintain an appropriate stock levels.
• Communicate with international merchants and manufacturers in a high professional manner through Alibaba.com and any other popular and well known foreign trade platforms.
• Negotiating quotations with the suppliers and reporting suppliers evaluation to the management for approvals based on Alibaba.com standards, contract and payment terms, along with the suppliers quotations.
• Providing all relevant company legal documents that are necessary for the shipments and customs clearance are valid in coordination with the beneficiary banks and administrative affairs.
• Review receiving vouchers of all merchandise including the performa invoice and shipping notes and assure that all relevant data are met and matching all supplies against the approved purchasing orders and quotations as well as the issue vouchers in the case of returns.
• Providing and reviewing services offers provided by third-party logistics through governmental, national and foreign shipping agencies and coordinating doing business with them to create, manage and develop a win-win partnership regarding warehousing, transport, shipping and delivering orders to last mile.
• Effectively communicating with 3PL to ensure the quality of services provided accordance to the SLA and ensuring strategic alternatives provided to bridge any gab during the seasonal peak-times.
• Tracking shipping operations with the aim of ensuring the quality of shipping and delivery operations, ensuring product safety, ensuring that packaging procedures are followed, and evaluating the performance of freight forwarders.
• Review the inspection and receipt records of all merchandise and ensure that all relevant data are met and that all supplies are compliant with the various approved supply orders and related quotations as well as delivery warrants for goods in the case of returns.

• Bachelor’s degree, with 3 to 7 years hands on experience in online sourcing with ecommerce industry.
• English language fluency
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
