Job Description – Primavera P6 Specialist 
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Primavera P6 Specialist to support the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects using Oracle Primavera P6. The role involves developing project schedules, maintaining baselines, analyzing progress, and ensuring that project activities are aligned with organizational objectives and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity coding for effective project control.
Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain baseline schedules and update progress reports.
Generate dashboards, S-curves, and resource histograms for management reporting.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule data.
Track critical paths and highlight risks to ensure timely completion.
Perform schedule variance analysis and provide forecasts.
Support claims analysis and extension-of-time submissions.
Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and client requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 (EPPM or Professional).
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI/PMBOK preferred).
Experience in resource and cost loading within P6.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Experience in construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or IT projects is an advantage.
Preferred Certifications
Oracle Primavera P6 Certified Implementation Specialist (optional but an advantage).
PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
