Primary responsibilities of this role
The role is responsible to monitor, maintain computer systems (desktop/laptop), installs and configures hardware & software application which includes operating system or certified third-party application to support end-user in resolving technical queries/issues in a timely manner and providing technical recommendations. Furthermore, the role performs user administrative responsibilities efficiently and
analysis of required systems to resolve simple and complex tasks/ issues

Duties and Essential Job Functions
Configure, install and update desktops, laptops and peripherals like printer, scanner, projector etc. based on user service requests, computer upgrade program or as otherwise assigned
Respond to client issues with systems, applications, hardware, and take corrective actions
- Provide both telephone and desk-side first level support and second level of diagnosing network related issues while escalating advanced issues to IT Network team as required
Performing deep steps of diagnosis and analysis on all levels (hardware, software, peripherals, &network) to conclude the optimal way to resolve issues
Perform desktop application installations, upgrades, and other support and maintenance activities
Provide operating and administration functions including user set up, configuration and management for systems and business applications which include creation/ termination of network/exchange, rights/permission of network, creation/ rights/ group permission for business application and file directories
Monitors day-to-day network performance, network & hardware troubleshooting, fault analysis and repair
Carry out installation and configuration of network hardware, software and OS server system administrations
Ensure network safety, security and provide necessary system integrity, backups, restores and disaster recovery
Ensure customer satisfaction, including taking ownership of an opened tickets and ensuring incidents are fully resolved
Communicate effectively with clients and other team members while gathering information to facilitate
problem resolution
Performing other job-related duties as assigned by line manager

Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
In-depth knowledge of hardware and software and high level of problem/issue analytical skills
Strong knowledge and experience with Exchange mail server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Access Points, and network devices (routers and switches)
Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols
Experience in network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and local language as indicated
