Negotiate rates, transportation and handling costs with shipping lines & overseas company agents
Obtain rates & quote offers for shipping services required by customers
Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customers requirements
Co-ordinate the shipments with overseas agents
Ability to handle a shipment from booking to delivery
Track & trace shipments & update customers on regular basis
Complete invoicing and billing processes; assist in the investigation of billing issues and develops solutions for problems to ensure accurate invoices are provided to the customer in a timely manner
Consistently meets the customer’s needs around shipment bookings, collections, delivery, and shipment updates
