Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and execute engineering projects, including new equipment installation, line optimization, and facility upgrades, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Maintenance to implement technical solutions and improve manufacturing processes.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments for proposed projects.
Manage vendor relationships, prepare technical specifications, and oversee commissioning and validation activities.
Ensure all engineering projects meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety, and environmental standards, as well as relevant FDA and ISO regulations.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and optimizing resource utilization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
2–5 years of experience in project engineering, ideally within cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or other GMP-regulated industries.
Proven experience managing capital or process improvement projects from concept to completion.
Proficiency with CAD software, project management tools, and data analysis techniques.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and process control systems.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with validation protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
