operation specialist
Company located in alexandria
Position: operation executive
Department: operation
Reports to: sales manager&general manager
1. PURPOSE:
Work to manage all customer orders from the beginning of the order until its shipments are delivered in a proper manner that satisfies the customer.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- Collecting rates from shipping lines.
2- Submit bookings (online or manual)
3- Receiving booking confirmation
4- Handle inland transportation starting from loading containers up to receiving invoices & official receipts from transportation companies
5- Submit VGM & final instructions
6- Receiving B\Ls draft ✓ it with customer or sales
7- Confirm drafts with shipping lines
8- Receiving invoice from shipping lines after vessels departure
9- Follow up with clients
10- Follow up with trucking tea and customs clearance team
11-Do documentation for every operate
12- make a strategic plan for every shipping
13-make the final report with finance team

4. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work consists of talking to customers, starting work on previous reservations, supervising the operations team and payment requests for agencies, sending reports to the sales team with the latest updates, communicating directly with accounts, and sending payment requests to them.
Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.

6. QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Qualification & Education:
Experience:
Bachelor degree & academic deplom in logistics field
must have at least 3-6 years logistics operation import and export experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of the principles of the logistics , Excellent verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English and Arabic
The ability to plan
High computer literacy.
Communication skills
