Job Purpose:
  • IVORY is seeking a resourceful Business Development Specialist who is responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and optimizing marketing strategies. They analyze business processes and finances, implement business plans, and establish effective networks.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business and long-term account opportunities with any accreditation partnership.
  • Support sales plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
  • Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained growth.
  • Assisting in monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
  • Evaluating and coming up with ideas to improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
  • Identifying and developing new lines of business based on consumer behavior.
  • Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
  • Developing client relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.
  • Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
  • Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue.
  • Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
  • Assessing and advising on potential joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Developing and creating training plan for each coming year.
  • Benchmarking state-of-the-art practices to recommend profit and service improvements for the sales team and other teams.
  • Following up on tenders and hand them over to the proposal’s team.
  • Handling supplier registration for our clients.
  • Developing solutions for the gaps and/or obstructions that affect the workflow at IVORY.
  • Participate in meetings with clients when needed.
  • Reporting progress to the Management.
  • Researching active customers in the market.
  • Assisting and completing any requests and/or Tasks from the Business Development Manager.
  • Assisting and supporting the Top Management with any requested Tasks.
Job Specifications:
Work experience:
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Business Development.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound marketing, design and implement marketing initiatives including newsletter, trade-shows, webinars, collateral, social media.
  • Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients
Education/Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Development or Marketing, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion
  • Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behavior.
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial/budgeting processes.
  • Competency in negotiating and closing business deals.
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships.
  • Ability to advise on possible joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Computer skills:
  • Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM Software
  • Excellent Microsoft Skills
Language:
  • Good command of written and spoken English language.
