تفاصيل الوظيفة

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and oversee the transportation of biological samples, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with transportation companies to schedule and monitor shipments, ensuring compliance with temperature control and other special handling requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with couriers, laboratories, and internal teams to provide updates on sample status and resolve any transportation issues.
  • Ensure all transportation and shipping processes comply with industry regulations, including biosafety and cold chain management.
  • Maintain and update transportation records, including shipment tracking, documentation, and invoicing.
  • Analyze transportation data to identify any delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize the process.
  • Manage relationships with transportation providers, negotiating rates and terms to ensure cost-effective and reliable service.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, such as shipping manifests, invoices, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Ensure proper labeling and packaging of samples according to company policies and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve logistics processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing the transportation of biological samples or similar sensitive materials is a plus.
  • Familiarity with logistics and shipment tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance related to biological samples, cold chain logistics, and biosafety.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and tools (e.g., shipment tracking platforms).
